FamIt ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information: name and email address when you register.
- Profile information: optional profile photo.
- Family data: tasks, care profiles, medicine schedules, grocery items, expenses, calendar events, and home records you create within the app.
- Device information: push notification token to deliver reminders.
- Usage data: app interactions to improve the service.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and improve the FamIt service.
- To send push notifications for reminders (medicines, tasks, events).
- To allow family circle members to collaborate on shared data.
- We do not sell your data to third parties.
3. Data Sharing
Your data is only visible to you and the members of your family circle. We use Supabase for secure data storage with row-level security. AI assistant messages are processed by Anthropic and are not stored by Anthropic.
4. Data Storage and Security
All data is encrypted in transit using TLS/SSL. We use industry-standard security practices including row-level security policies on all database tables.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
You can delete your account at any time from the Profile screen. Account deletion permanently removes all your data within 30 days. Individual records can be deleted within the app at any time.
6. Children's Privacy
FamIt is intended for users aged 13 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
7. Your Rights (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us at support@famit.app.
8. Changes to This Policy
We will notify you of significant changes by updating the effective date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
